If you want to pay a visit to Linz, the capital of the province, I´ll do my best to present my native town – either showing you the most important sights and places or making a guided tour referring to a special topic (history of medicine, women and their lives in linz, special guests – tourists of yore, new stories – old lanes, social history,…) The centre of Upper-Austria with old towns like Enns, with monasteries like St. Florian, … the charming, hilly landscape of the Mühlviertel with the typical farmhouses and the medieval town Freistadt, and last but not least the „imperial“ southern region, the Salzkammergut, with beautiful towns and the World Cultural and Natural Heritage Region Hallstatt surrounded by mountains and lakes invite you to a guided tour including the history and stories of customs and the Habsburgs, culture … and leisurely walks.
